The Palisades Glacier is the Sierra Nevada’s largest glacier. This remote region, accessed from Big Pine, CA, provides miles of breathtaking wilderness. This gem of North American glaciers provides water to Los Angeles and is perhaps the most important of the Sierra Nevada’s glaciers.
